Major's Lab Windows NT Information

To login to NT Workstations in Major's Lab

1. Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring up login screen.
2. Login using the following:

   User Name: majors
   Password: (leave this blank)
   Domain: CSDEPT

3. At the Computer Science Department login screen, type in your Unix username and password. This will mount your home directory from xi as the Z drive, and will set up printing to the majors lab printer.

To generate a CS account from NT in Major's Lab

1. Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring login screen.
2. Login using the following:

   User Name: newacct
   Password: newacct
   Domain: CSDEPT

3. You will automatically be placed in a telnet window, where you will enter the new account generator. Login using the following:

   login: newacct
   password: newacct

4. Follow the instructions on the screen to generate your account.
5. When finished, press CTRL-ALT-DELTE to logout.
